I Wish

Don't know what I'm thinking.
I can see trouble in the making.
Wishing that you were here
Another thought I shouldn't bare.
Don't get me wrong
This hasn't gone on long.
Only since that day
You smiled at me in that way.
I wish I could let you see
How much you really mean to me.
Every smile and dreamed up kiss
Always leading me back to this.
You're with her
I know that for sure.
It doesn't stop my heart
From giving you a part.
I'm not so sure what this means
I feel like an actress doing some scenes.
You're the one who's caught my eye.
My main hope is that you'll come on by.
So, for now, I'll keep it hidden.
For this love for you is forbidden.

Because I know she loves you too.

I’m jealous,
Because I believe you deserve more.

Because it’s different than before.

Still There

I can't keep doing this
Don't want to pretend
It seems everyone still sees
All the things I try to hide

Your face still fills my dreams
And the memories still haunt
The love that I'm still feeling
Doesn’t want to fade away

Even though to you I'm nothing
You're still everything to me
No matter where I go
No matter who I see

On my mind you're always there
Like a ghost following me
Can't explain these feelings
The logic just can't be seen

All my emotions for you
Are worlds unto their own
The memories won't fade away
Even though I wish they would

So give me some sort of relief
Take this heartache and walk away
Or if deep down you feel it too
Say it's so and never let me go
